DS-13 Umeå Hardcore Forever 2xLP is the grand collection of all 7 inch singles, splits, and compilation tracks from the legendary Swedish thrashcore band Demon System 13 from Umeå - 67 tracks remastered for double LP, released for the 20th anniversary of their first 7 inch Aborted Teen Generation. This DS-13 double LP gathers all the band's non-album material across 67 ripping tracks of speedy hardcore fury - all in a gatefold sleeve featuring the band logo by Pushead plus the very first band photo taken 20 years earlier at Charlie's in Umeå. Released by Spela Snabbare Records (Europe) and Havoc Records (US), remastered at Communichaos Media Clay Station. DS-13 (active 1996-2002, reunited for occasional gigs since 2012) drew on early 80s American hardcore influences from Minor Threat, Poison Idea, DRI, Agnostic Front, and Seven Seconds rather than the typical Swedish Discharge-influenced sound.
