Doom Re-Viled 2xLP is the legendary re-recording of the Birmingham UK crust punk pioneers' classic Total Doom material, originally released in 1995 under the title Fuck Peaceville. This Doom double LP captures the band re-recording their earliest songs as members intended them to sound in the early days - recorded over three days at In A City Studios in February 1995. Doom were pivotal in the rise of crust punk, formed in Birmingham in 1987 and laying down the template for first-wave UK crust core alongside Hellbastard, Deviated Instinct, and Sore Throat. These destructive d-beat masters play fast as shit and their overall sound is heavy, fuzzy, dirty, and mean as hell. Doom are one of the most inspirational crust bands ever - old-school, raw, and absolutely classic. Re-Viled comes packaged as 2xLP in gatefold sleeve with lyrics. Following the group's late 80s era, vocalist Pickering would go on to form Police Bastard while drummer Stick joined ENT then Dirt. Essential listening for fans of UK crust punk, d-beat, stenchcore, foundational anarcho crust, and the godfathers of an entire subgenre alongside Hellbastard, Sore Throat, Deviated Instinct, and Disrupt.
