Eskorbuto Ya No Quedan Mas Cojones Eskorbuto A Las Elecciones LP is the vinyl reissue of the legendary 1986 cassette from one of the most influential punk bands in the Spanish and Latin American scenes. This Eskorbuto LP delivers 6 tracks of pure radicalism - the band's self-taught style, crude lyrics, and anti-everything stance fully crystallized in their unmistakable raw style. Originally released as part of the band's satirical campaign to enter the Spanish general elections as a political party - they didn't achieve it but the songs told more truths than any political speech. Spanish state censors (CSS) tried to censor the cassette and refused to manufacture it because of the song Escupe A La Bandera, but it became an incredible success despite the attempts at suppression. Eskorbuto formed in 1980 in Santurtzi (Greater Bilbao, Basque Country, Spain) and along with La Polla Records became one of the most influential bands in the Spanish and Latin American punk rock scenes - one of the first bands to perform punk with lyrics in Spanish. Lineup of Iosu Expósito on guitar and vocals, Juanma Suárez on bass and vocals, and Pako Galán on drums and backing vocals. Reissued by Munster Records. Essential listening for fans of Spanish punk, Basque radical rock, Latin American punk, anarcho-punk, and the foundational early 80s Iberian punk underground alongside La Polla Records, Kortatu, and RIP.
