Deuter Demos 1981 to 1984 LP gathers the unreleased early demo recordings of the legendary Polish anarcho-punk band Deuter from Warsaw - one of the most important early Eastern Bloc punk bands and a band heavily influenced by Crass and the UK anarcho-punk movement. This Deuter LP collects a four-track demo recorded at the Riviera-Remont Club in 1981, two songs recorded at Okólnik in 1982, five songs recorded in the basement of the Hybrydy club in 1984 (including an instrumental track recorded for Akademia Ruchu / Academy of Movement performance), plus fragments from two Warsaw live shows - three songs from 1982 and two from 1984. These sessions were never released on vinyl before (except two songs on the Victim of a Safety Pin compilation LP), and many have never been published in any format before this release. As requested by the band, the LP design follows the aesthetics of Crass who were a huge inspiration for early Deuter. Essential listening for fans of Polish punk, Eastern Bloc anarcho-punk, Crass-influenced UK82 era hardcore, and obscure international punk documents from the early 80s communist underground.
