Originally released on Important Records, this Mad Parade LP put the band on the map with heavy rotation on KROQ thanks to Rodney Bingenheimer championing their melodic punk rock sound. Anticipating the rise of pop-punk, Mad Parade drew on 999, Buzzcocks, Dead Boys, The Adicts, New York Dolls, and Iggy for inspiration - wanting to be different from the LA hardcore scene around them, even adopting a Clockwork Orange droogies look before The Adicts.
