Chaos UK Just Mere Slaves LP documents the legendary Bristol UK hardcore band's historic 1985 Japanese tour, originally released as a Japan-only LP on Selfish Records in 1986. This Chaos UK LP combines four studio tracks recorded in Japan during November 1985 - Rise From The Rubble, 4 Minute Warning, City Of Dreams, and the title track Just Mere Slaves - with five blistering live cuts from the same tour including Control, Victimised, No Security, Senseless Conflict, and Farmyard Boogie. Features the mid-80s lineup of Mower on vocals, Gabba on guitar, Chaos on bass, and Lunatic Fringe drummer Age filling in for Chuck who was denied entry due to his criminal record. This was the first UK punk band to ever tour Japan and the tour directly influenced the entire generation of Japanese hardcore bands that followed. Considered by many to be one of Chaos UK's finest recordings. Essential listening for fans of UK82 hardcore, d-beat, anarcho-punk, noise punk, and the foundational connection between UK punk and Japanese hardcore.
