El Duce 1985 LP is a 2021 collection of rare and unheard 1985 home recordings from Eldon "El Duce" Hoke, drummer and vocalist of the notoriously over-the-top LA shock rock band The Mentors. This El Duce LP features 12 songs in their original demo form, recorded in the Redondo Beach apartment of Mentors bassist Dr. Heathen Scum - including future Mentors classics White Trash Woman, Up the Dose, and Midnight Mistress that would later appear on the 1986 Mentors album Up The Dose. Released by Stool Sample Records, limited to 500 copies. The Mentors formed in 1976 and remained one of the most notorious bands in American underground rock until El Duce's death in 1997.
